Just realized my usual wholesale market feels totally different now

I went to pick up stock this morning and half the stalls were selling these new hybrid varieties I don't recognize. It reminded me of when I first started and you could count on the same classic roses and carnations every week. How do you guys keep up with all the new flower types popping up lately?

Yeah it's wild out there lately. I literally started asking the growers for their printed lists every month, they usually have photos of the new hybrids. Last week I spotted those "quicksand" roses thinking they were just pale pink, turns out they change color as they open. Total game changer for brides wanting something different. You kinda have to treat it like produce season now, what's available shifts fast.

Seriously, it's turning into a grab-it-now-or-never situation! You blink and the perfect bloom for a June wedding is just gone.

Totally, those printed lists are the only way to keep up. I've seen online shops sell out of a new hybrid in a single afternoon because someone posted a photo. You really have to decide on the spot now, because calling back tomorrow means it's already gone.
