I'm over the 'deconstructed' trend, my jacket literally fell apart

The sleeve stitching on my new 'artisanal' coat from a Brooklyn pop-up gave out after two wears, and I had to patch it with heavy-duty thread from my work truck. Has anyone else had a high-concept piece just fail on them in a basic way?
