A client's comment about my jacket lining changed how I approach construction
A customer said my lining fabric felt 'sticky' against her blouse. I switched from polyester to rayon lining on that jacket after she mentioned it, and she ended up ordering another one two weeks later. Has anyone else had fabric feedback that forced you to rethink a standard choice?
Honestly this is such a good idea, I started doing it last year and it totally changed how I approach finishing. I ask stuff like "Does the collar feel too tight?" or "Is the jeans fabric stiff anywhere?" because they notice stuff I completely miss. Tbh people love when you care about the little things, they remember it and come back way more often.
