Spent 4 hours trying to find a decent co-working space in Austin for a meetup

Every place either wanted a huge deposit or had weird rules about outside guests. Anyone know a spot that's actually cool with small business groups?

Ugh, that search sounds like a nightmare (been there). My friend tried to book a library meeting room last month and the form was like ten pages long.

Oh man, @cora863, that's wild! Our library system actually streamlined theirs to just two pages last year, but you have to submit it like three weeks in advance. It's a whole new kind of hassle.

Seriously, I used to just book the first spot with wifi. But after a place charged my card for "extra cleaning" because we had coffee, I get it now. Reading the fine print on guest policies is key. That ten page form @cora863 mentioned sounds awful, but maybe it's to avoid those surprise fees. I started looking for spots that list all their rules upfront, even if it takes longer to find.
