Chasing a lead for months with zero feedback is killing my momentum.
How long should I wait before moving on to other prospects?

Give it two weeks after your last follow up, max. I see this everywhere, like when friends say "we should hang out" with no concrete plan. If someone wants to work with you, they make it happen. After that second nudge, your time is better spent on people who actually reply.

But have you thought about how packed someone's schedule might be? Life gets wild with unexpected stuff like sick kids or last minute work trips. Cutting ties after two weeks could mean losing a solid opportunity down the road. I know folks who took ages to answer but became my most reliable contacts! Rushing to move on might come off as impatient or not very understanding. Sometimes the best connections need a little extra time to grow.

Totally get that, I've had the same thing happen. Once waited almost a month for a reply from a guy who seemed to ghost me, and he ended up being one of my best clients for years. People are just buried sometimes. Cutting things off too fast can totally burn a bridge you didn't even know was there. Giving it that extra bit of patience makes a huge difference.
