PSA: That 'fast set' mud in the green bucket is a nightmare on big sheets

Used it on a whole house job in Tampa because the boss said it would cut our drying time. Ended up with a ton of hairline cracks in the seams after just 24 hours, even though we followed the 90-minute recoat window. I'm sticking with the standard stuff for anything over a 4x12 panel. Anyone else have a bad experience with a specific mud on large surfaces?

Man, my buddy's whole ceiling job cracked like a spiderweb with that stuff.

Damn, wonder if the building settled weird after they finished? That can mess with anything.

Oh yeah, that stuff is a total trap. I tried it on a long hallway ceiling and got the same spiderweb cracks right on the seams. It sets up way too fast and just doesn't have any give.
