Had to choose between a 6-inch or 10-inch knife for a tricky ceiling patch
The patch was on a sloped ceiling in an old Denver bungalow. I went with the 6-inch and it gave me way more control for the tight angles. Anyone have a different go-to for awkward overhead work?

Honestly, the tool choice matters so much on those old sloped ceilings. I was patching a similar spot in my attic and dropped my 10-inch knife right into a bucket of mud. Had to fish it out with a paint stir stick. The 6-inch is just less clumsy to handle when you're on a ladder. What's the worst tool mishap you've had on a ceiling job?

Yeah, the 6-inch is perfect for that control.

A 6-inch feels too small for me up there. I always grab my 8-inch for better coverage on those angles.
