Update: I dropped $300 on a proper tile saw for my bathroom floor and it was the best call I made.

The cheap rental one kept chipping the edges, but my new one cut everything clean, which saved me a ton of time and wasted tile. What's the one tool you're glad you finally bought instead of renting?

$300 for a tile saw? That's a serious investment lol. My cheap rental was like $40 for the day, but it totally butchered my backsplash.

Feel your pain with the rental saw struggle. My first tile job looked like a toddler cut the pieces with safety scissors. Sometimes the cheap tools just cost you more in wasted materials and frustration.
