That $30 photo storage app I bought actually made my clutter worse

I kept meaning to sort through 4 years of phone pictures, so last month I paid for a popular app that claimed it would auto-tag everything. Instead it made 9 duplicate folders and mixed up my dog with a throw pillow in the tags. Spent 2 evenings fixing its mess and finally just deleted the app, then went back to my old messy camera roll. Has anyone else had a decluttering tool that added more work than it saved?

The free Google Photos app already sorts by faces and places, so I stopped paying for extra tools and just search "dog" when I need old pics. The real fix was turning off auto-backup so my camera roll stays small enough to scroll through in 5 minutes.
