Question about using a drawing tablet vs a screen tablet for character art

Honestly, I had to pick between a basic Wacom Intuos and a more expensive Huion Kamvas for my new fantasy character series. I went with the Huion after saving for six months, and it felt weird drawing right on the screen at first. Ngl, the line work for my elf designs got way cleaner once I got used to it, but the colors looked different on my main monitor. Has anyone else had to fix color shifts between their tablet screen and their computer?

My old Cintiq 16 had the same color shift problem. It's just a calibration thing, not the end of the world.

Tried a few different calibration profiles and found one that worked better.

So you spent months saving for a fancy screen tablet just so your cool elf could look like she's wearing a different colored cloak on every screen? Classic. My dragon's fire went from scary orange to weird peach between my Kamvas and my laptop, looked like it was breathing fruit punch. I spent more time messing with color settings than actually drawing. Felt like I bought a sports car that only drives in reverse.
