That week in February where every truck threw a CEL on me
Honestly, last winter I had three straight days where every single truck that rolled in had a check engine light. One was a cracked EGR cooler on a '22 Pete that leaked coolant into the intake, and it took me four hours just to find the damn thing. Has anyone else had a run of bad luck like that where it felt like the shop was cursed?

Man, that sounds like a full-on shop curse right there. I once had a Monday where three Rams in a row all had the same damn evap leak code P0456, and I spent half the day chasing loose gas caps and cracked hoses before I realized the parts cannon was just firing blanks at me. By the end of it, I was ready to trade my toolbox in for a shovel and start digging a hole to climb into.

Two Rams in one day with the same P0456? Tbh @john650, I’d argue that’s a blessing in disguise, not a curse. If you’re getting the same code on repeat, that’s a pattern you can lock in on, not some random voodoo. Once you figure out it’s not the gas cap or hoses, you’re basically done with half the diagnostic work for the next one. You saved yourself from chasing three different problems, which sounds like a win to me. Honestly, I’d take that over a Monday full of random misfires and no clue what’s going on.

@john650 you ain't wrong about that pattern being a win. Had a stretch where three Cascadias back to back all had the same P0087 low fuel pressure code. Took me two hours on the first one to find the CP4 pump was grenaded. Next two got pulled in and fixed in under an hour each. Cursed week turned into a speedrun.
