Dropped $80 on a thermal camera attachment for my phone and it already found a leaky pipe I would've missed

Honestly that's pretty wild, $80 is cheap for how much it could save you in water damage down the road. Ngl most people would never catch a leak that small without some kind of thermal tech. Tbh you probably made your money back already just by finding it early.

Thermal imaging is super useful but it's not the only way to catch a small leak. You can sometimes spot them with a moisture meter or just by listening carefully for drips in quiet moments. Still, having that camera is a nice shortcut for sure.
