That guy who said "subscribe and save" is a scam was right
My neighbor Tom told me Amazon's subscribe and save was a ripoff because they jack up the price before the discount kicks in. I brushed him off for months. Then I checked my order history for cat litter and dish soap over the last year. The base price went up $2-3 on almost every item compared to buying one-time. So I was getting 15% off a higher price and still paying more than just buying normal. Has anyone else caught this happening on specific items?

Actually the price history shows the subscribe price is usually the same as the one-time buy price.
