My buddy actually got burned on a similar deal once. He bought a $50 gift card for $40 at a local grocery chain, but it turned out the card was only valid at the store's gas station, not the actual supermarket. He had to use it on gas or lose the money. So I'd check the fine print real close on that catch. It could be something like only good on certain days or maybe just for store brand items. Kinda makes the discount not worth the hassle sometimes.
