Why does nobody warn you that two weeks off from journaling kills the habit
I skipped 14 days of my daily 3 lines and coming back felt like starting over from zero. It took 9 days straight of writing again just to get the flow back. Anyone else lose the thread that fast after a break, or am I just weak on follow through?
Oh man, I feel this in my soul. I skipped like 10 days back in March and told myself I'd just pick up where I left off, then proceeded to write "tired today" for six days straight like that counted as journaling. The worst part is I had a whole system with prompts and everything, and my brain just deleted all of it like a bad phone update. Nine days to get the flow back honestly sounds about right, so you're not weak, the habit is just mean.
