Showerthought: That fancy gym membership I paid $80 a month for
Signed up for Peak Fitness in Portland back in January, thought I'd finally get in shape. Paid $80 a month for 6 months straight and went exactly 4 times total. Anyone else fall for the whole 'this time will be different' trap with memberships?

Wait, you only went 4 times but you paid for a full 6 months? Did you not cancel after the first few weeks when you realized it wasn't sticking? I get the trap though, I signed up for a climbing gym last year and went twice before my knees gave out, so at least you got a few more visits in than me.

that part about your knees giving out hits hard, i feel that. what finally worked for me was just doing bodyweight stuff at home for like 10 bucks a month on youtube, zero pressure to go anywhere.
