Still thinking about the guy at the dog park who scolded me for how I pick up poop

So I'm at Riverside Dog Park last Saturday, and I bend down to grab my dog's business with the bag over my hand, the normal way. This older dude in cargo shorts walks over and goes, 'You're doing it backwards, you're gonna get it on your fingers.' I laughed it off but he seriously showed me his method where you use the bag like a glove from the outside first. He said he's been doing it for 20 years with zero incidents. I tried it and honestly it felt weird but cleaner? My dog is a 60 pound lab mix so he drops a lot, and I used to just twist and tie quick. Now I'm stuck wondering if I've been gross this whole time or if that guy was just overly particular. Has anyone else had a random stranger change a simple pet chore for you?
