Appreciation post: My rabbit's unexpected take on gardening help
I was potting some new herbs on the balcony today, and my bunny, Pebbles, hopped over to investigate. She started nudging the soil with her nose and ended up knocking over a whole tray of seedlings, mixing them all up. It was a funny mess, but now I have to replant everything carefully. If you're into gardening with pets around, maybe keep them in another room during delicate tasks.

Did Pebbles have a plan for mixing those seedlings?

Label each group with plant tags to keep track. I use popsicle sticks and a waterproof marker, idk it's cheap and works. A quick sketch in a notebook saves so much hassle later. Mixing without a system is how I got a bunch of unmarked peppers.

Pets have a way of reminding us that even our best plans can get shuffled around. It's a good lesson in going with the flow.
