Spent 45 minutes trying to fix the perspective on a doodle of my cat only to realize I needed to erase one dumb line.

Has anyone else had a drawing that took forever because you kept adding stuff when the real problem was something tiny you put down first?

I read an art tip once about "the one wrong line" and it's saved me hours since.

Paul286 nailed it with that "one wrong line" thing. I've caught myself obsessing over a single mark for way too long, only to realize fixing it made the whole piece click. Your mileage may vary but it's saved me from trashing entire sketches.
