My lunch break doodles got me a new friend at the dog park
Last Tuesday I was sketching my coffee cup during my lunch break at Riverside Park and this older guy with a golden retriever walked by and asked what I was drawing. I showed him my messy scribble and he laughed, said it looked like his dog after a bath, and pulled out his own pocket sketchbook full of bird doodles he does every morning. We traded tips for like 20 minutes and now we meet up on Tuesdays to draw whatever we see, last week I even got the dog to sit still for a whole 5 minutes. Has anyone else had a random stranger turn into a drawing buddy out of nowhere?

That's such a nice story, making a friend over doodles sounds pretty great.
