Doodled my cat with a pen and then with a cheap marker, and the pen blew it out of the water
I sketched my cat Nacho twice last night while watching TV, once with a ballpoint pen and once with one of those fat markers from a pack I picked up at the dollar store in Dayton. The marker bled through my sketchbook page in like 3 seconds and turned his face into one gray blob, but the pen gave me these thin scratchy lines that somehow look way more like him. I did a second marker cat and same thing, just mush. Is it me or are markers only good for big blocks of color and nothing else? What do you all use for quick faces?
