Finally ditched sticky notes for a password manager after last month's scare
I used to keep my work passwords on a yellow pad under my keyboard, figured no one would look there. Then last month a contractor saw me type one in and I panicked over what he might have memorized. Spent a Saturday moving everything into Bitwarden, including the 14 old ones I never changed. Now I only remember my master passphrase and let the app handle the rest. Has anyone else made the switch after a close call, or am I the last one to get with it?

The part about only remembering your master passphrase is mostly true, but you should still memorize the password for your email account tied to Bitwarden. If you ever get locked out or the app glitches, that email is your only way back in, and you can't look it up inside the manager. Setting up two-factor on that email too is worth the five minutes.
