Can we talk about how my neighbor's smart doorbell got hacked last week
Three years ago I told him to change the default password on his new video doorbell, but he didn't listen, and last week someone in Tulsa used it to yell at his dog through the speaker at 3 a.m.

Wait, why Tulsa specifically though? That's such a RANDOM place to pick. Smart doorbells are basically computers sitting outside your house with a camera and microphone, and people just slap them up without thinking about security at all. It's like leaving your front door wide open and hoping nobody walks in. I bet that neighbor will change his password now, but honestly it should have been the FIRST thing he did before even mounting the thing on his wall.
