My video editor froze at 2am and ate 4 hours of render work, lost the whole export
Honestly I was up until 2am on Tuesday finishing a client project and my editor froze right at 94 percent on the export. Four hours of timeline work just sat there and nothing saved because I had auto save turned off like a dummy. I tried force quitting and reopening but the project file was corrupted so I had to rebuild the last section from the raw clips. Tbh this is the second time this month something in my setup has crashed on a deadline, and I'm starting to think my 6 year old laptop is the real problem here. Has anyone else had a crash eat their work like this and did switching to cloud saves actually help or is that just asking for a different kind of headache?
