My live stream crashed during a big product launch in Chicago
Was in my home studio last Tuesday, showing off a new tool. Viewers hit 2,000 and the whole thing froze. Had to restart the software, lost half the crowd. Anyone else deal with a major tech fail like that? What's your backup plan?

Man, that's brutal. It reminds me of how everything from traffic lights to coffee machines seems to rely on one single point of failure now. My backup is always having a second, simpler device ready to go, like an old phone on a different network, just to get a basic stream back up fast.

My podcast interview with a musician in Austin cut out right as she was telling a crazy tour story, we had 800 people listening. I felt so sick. Now I keep a second laptop logged into the stream on my phone's hotspot, just a bare bones backup. It saved me last month when my main internet dropped. That feeling of watching the viewer count drop is the worst lol.
