Figured out last month that my best thumbnail idea came from a napkin doodle at a diner in Boise
I was stuck on a video for 3 days, then scribbled a dumb little face on a napkin while waiting for pancakes and it got more clicks than anything I've done in 6 months. Now I keep a stack of index cards on my desk and sketch 5 rough ideas before I even open my editor. Does anyone else get their best stuff away from the screen, or is it just me?
