My stubborn view on using single-word prompts totally flipped
In my experience, I saw them as pointless, but trying one out led to my most focused piece yet. Your mileage may vary, but it's worth testing if you feel stuck.

What made the single-word prompt work for you this time?

Single word prompts always seemed like a crutch to me. They don't give enough direction for real depth. My best work comes from clear, specific ideas, not vague starting points. Trying to force focus from one word often leads to shallow output. It's fine for a quick exercise, but not for serious writing.
