My aunt's old prompt box made me question how I write now

I was helping my aunt clean her attic last weekend and found a shoebox full of index cards she used for writing prompts back in the 80s. Each card had one simple line like "a door opens inward" or "the last coin in a fountain," and she said she'd spin a whole story from just that. It hit different because I've been using these huge multi-paragraph prompt generators online for 2 years now, and I can't remember the last time a single sentence got my brain going. Has anyone else tried going back to the bare bones one-liner prompts, and did it actually help or did you just end up staring at the card?

Honestly I used to think longer prompts were better but this makes me wanna flip my whole process.
