Just realized writing prompts by hand beats a list of 50 on my phone, thanks to a guy at a diner in Omaha
I used to hoard prompt lists on my phone because I thought more options meant more writing, but at a diner in Omaha last month a guy at the counter said my problem was I was browsing instead of writing. He handed me a paper napkin and said to write just 3 prompts by hand before I order. I tried it and somehow the slower act of writing them out made me pick one and start, so now I'm wondering if anyone else has ditched the big lists for a tiny handwritten few.
