Wait, a hundred prompts in one notebook?

Been there. My trick is to write down the first obvious idea, then force three more variations before moving on. It pushes past the generic stuff. The real gold is usually in those third or fourth attempts when your brain gets tired of the easy answers.

Forcing variations sounds like a great way to end up with a hundred bad ideas instead of a hundred okay ones. Sometimes the first idea is the best one because it's the most honest. All that extra work just leads to overthinking and killing the original spark. The goal is to write, not to make everything needlessly complicated.
