My manager gave me a $25 gift card after a lady returned a used Crock-Pot at the Fairview store
Last week a woman came in with a slow cooker she'd used for two months, no receipt, and a story about how it "cooked too fast." My manager Dana backed me up when I said no, and she had to call mall security when the lady started reading out our return policy line by line from a printout she brought. After it was over Dana handed me a $25 gift card and said I handled it calmer than she would have. What's the strangest thing someone has tried to return at your job?
