My $60 used DS beats every cozy game app on my phone

I tried about 8 cozy mobile games on my phone last winter and deleted all of them, then grabbed a beat up DS at a garage sale in Omaha for $60 and put 40 hours into Animal Crossing in a month. The little thing just pulls me in without popups or timers. What older handheld do you still keep around for winding down?
