My aunt in Tulsa showed me how she stretches one pot of chili into 4 different dinners and I'm kinda mad I never thought of it
She cooks a huge batch of chili on Sunday and then does cornbread pie on Monday, chili dogs on Tuesday, and chili mac on Wednesday. The trick is she freezes half the base plain so it does not all taste the same by day 4. Does anyone else split their base batch before adding stuff so the leftovers feel like new meals?
