I finally switched to cordless nail guns after years of hating on them

Always thought batteries would die mid-job and leave me stranded but my buddy let me borrow his 18v framing nailer last week. Nailed up 80 sheets of sheathing without swapping a battery once and my compressor never even left the truck bed. Anybody else have a conversion story about something they swore they'd never use?

I mean, that's pretty wild about the sheathing, but here's what I keep wondering about those 18v guns. Do you find the balance is off compared to a pneumatic? Like, I've held a few cordless framers and they always felt top heavy to me, especially when you're reaching up to nail a top plate or working in a tight corner. The battery sticking out the back seems like it'd throw off your whole rhythm after a few hours. Maybe it's just me but I get particular about tool weight distribution.

Read a review saying the weight makes your wrist sore after a full day.
