Can we talk about the sudden route changes on mountain hikes in Nepal?

I heard from other trekkers that trails are being moved without clear reasons. It feels like there's more to the story, so be cautious.

Are they just trying to keep people safe?

Absolutely. My building just added more cameras and it really does feel like they're watching us more than protecting us.

Seriously, it feels like every "safety" rule these days is more about control. You hit on something big there, @the_elliot.
