Waking up with stiff, painful hands after a long pour is wearing me down...

I've been noticing that after every big slab job, my wrists and forearms are just wrecked... It's like they seize up overnight, and I can barely grip my coffee mug in the morning. Last week, we had to finish that warehouse floor, and by the end, my trowel felt like it weighed fifty pounds. I've tried those compression sleeves and even changed my grip, but the pain just comes back. It's frustrating because nobody really talks about this stuff on site, we just push through. I'm starting to worry about long term damage, you know? Maybe I need to look into different tools or techniques...

Fifty pounds on a trowel? That's insane, your body is begging for a break.

Your trowel weighed fifty pounds? Mine feels like it's filled with concrete by lunchtime. Who needs a gym when you have slab work?

That sounds rough, and you're right, we don't talk about it enough. A lot of us just deal with the same quiet ache.
