Just read a study that said concrete dust can cause lung problems years later
I was looking up some safety stuff online and found a report from a health group. It said breathing in concrete dust every day can lead to serious lung damage, and the effects might not show up for 10 or 15 years. I always wear a mask for the big clouds, but this made me think about all the small dust from grinding or sweeping. Do you guys use respirators for the smaller cleanup jobs too?

Yikes, my lungs are probably half dust by now.

Notice how many people talk about their health like it's already ruined. Feels like we've all accepted a slow decline as normal. That's a pretty grim way to live.

Used to think the little dust was no big deal until my uncle got diagnosed with lung scarring. He did drywall for thirty years and they said the constant low level dust was a huge factor. Now I wear a proper respirator for any cleanup, even just sweeping up. That study is scary but it definitely changed how I see the small stuff.
