Hit 500 square feet of stamped concrete in one pour today. Never thought I'd pull that off.
Always figured 300 was my max for a single day, but I changed up my mix and had a second guy on finishing. Has anyone else found a specific mix that lets you work faster without losing quality?

That mix change makes all the difference. I started adding a bit more fine sand and dropped the water by about 1.5 gallons per yard. Gave me a stiffer mud that still finished smooth but didn't bleed out on me. Having that second guy on the bull float while you're running the crew is key too, lets you keep the line moving without getting behind.

That bit about dropping 1.5 gallons per yard is interesting. Did you have to mess with your admixture dosage at all to compensate for the lower water?
