Last Thursday was the weirdest day I've had fixing computers in 8 years

I do on-site computer repair for small businesses around the county. Last Thursday I had three calls back to back. First stop was a dentist office where their main server just wouldn't boot. Turned out a power surge fried the PSU. Easy fix, swapped it out in 20 minutes. Then I headed to a real estate agency where their printer kept jamming. Found a half eaten granola bar stuck inside the paper tray. No joke. Third call was a car dealership where a secretary's monitor was flickering. The cable was plugged in halfway. That was it. I made $340 for the day and barely did any real troubleshooting. Has anyone else had a day where every problem was just something dumb and easy?

Last Thursday I made $340 for basically plugging a cable in and unclogging a granola bar. I get that @finleym43 appreciates easy days, but I'd rather earn my money actually fixing something than feeling like a glorified janitor. Those "boring" days make me nervous because clients start thinking we're overpaid for simple work. Next time they see a real problem, they'll try fixing it themselves first and blame me when they break it worse. I'd take a challenging motherboard repair over a half-unplugged monitor any day.

Used to think those days were boring but now I appreciate them.
