Taking the 7:15 bus instead of the 8:00 bus changed my whole morning
I used to roll out of bed at 7:40 and sprint for the 8:00 bus on Route 21 here in Cleveland, and I'd show up to work already wound up. Last week I started catching the 7:15 instead, and the difference is night and day. That early bus is half empty so I always get a seat, and I get 20 quiet minutes to drink my coffee instead of standing in the aisle holding it while some guy yells into his phone. The weird part is I get to work the same time either way, since the later bus sits in traffic on Lorain Ave. Anyone else find that an earlier ride beats a later one even when the clock says different?
