My brother told me to leave 15 minutes earlier for my new route.

He said the traffic on the 405 through Irvine gets bad fast after 7:15. I ignored him for a week, was late twice. Tried his tip last Monday, got to work with 10 minutes to spare. Should have listened sooner. Anyone else have a simple time hack that actually worked?

Wait, you were only leaving 15 minutes earlier? That's the whole trick? I was picturing some crazy two hour buffer. My friend does the same drive and swears by leaving before 7, says it's a totally different world. It's wild how a tiny shift can save you from sitting there watching your clock tick down.
