Spent a season diving off Port Fourchon and came back with a tan line so bad my wife thought I got a weird tattoo

Six months of working Gulf rigs in a shorty before switching to a drysuit for winter left this permanent racoon mask on my face and neck, and now nobody at the union hall believes I'm not still using a band mask even though I can show them the before picture from July what about you guys got any weird tan lines from gear shifts?

Wait I gotta say something, that U-shaped tan line from the band mask usually fades way faster than the raccoon eyes from the goggle gap. You probably still got a ghost face from the shorty hood too if you really want to prove it.

Wait, have you tried rubbing some coconut oil on the band mask tan line every night before bed? @gibson.sarah I found that helped mine fade in like 3 days, way faster than the raccoon eyes from the goggle gap which hung around for a week. I just dabbed a little on with a cotton ball and let it soak in, nothing fancy. The shorty hood ghost face is stubborn though, I had to wear a buff under my helmet for a couple weeks to even things out.
