My laptop flew off the table at a busy Blue Bottle and nobody blinked
Last Saturday in San Francisco I was reaching for my iced latte at Blue Bottle and my ENTIRE laptop went sliding off the table, crashing onto the floor with this LOUD bang. The whole place went quiet for like 2 seconds, and I just sat there frozen while my coffee stayed perfectly upright. Then this barista shouted 'that's a solid landing, I rate it a 7' and everyone laughed and went back to their screens. I picked it up, the screen still worked, and I switched to a booth in the corner for the rest of my shift. Has anyone else had a super public tech fail that somehow got DEFUSED by a random stranger's comment?
