Rant: My local shop in Portland ran out of their Ethiopian roast for a week straight
I had to switch to a Guatemalan blend, which just didn't hit the same bright notes I need to start my day. Anyone have a good alternative roaster for that style when your usual spot drops the ball?

That's a real bummer. I had the same thing happen with Coava's Ethiopian last month. You might try Heart Coffee Roasters on Burnside, their single origin Yirgacheffe has a similar citrus kick. What part of town are you in?

Ugh, @fiona_murphy, chasing that perfect citrus kick is like trying to find a calm dog in my shop.

I'm over in the Pearl, so Heart is actually pretty close. Their Yirgacheffe is solid, but last time I grabbed a bag it was a bit more tea-like than the bright lemon I look for. I ended up liking Proud Mary's Ethiopian Guji better for that punch. Still, Heart's roast is super consistent, which counts for a lot.
