Found out my tap water was killing the flavor of my pour over for 6 months
I was getting this weird dull taste from my morning coffee no matter what beans I used. Tried switching grind sizes, water temp, everything. Finally bought a $25 TDS meter off Amazon and my tap water tested at 280 ppm. Switched to filtered water from the grocery store dispenser and the difference was night and day. Has anyone else had a similar issue with hard water ruining their brew?
