Can we talk about the guy who told me my pour over method was wrong at the Portland cafe
I was at a small cafe on Alberta Street last month, just making my usual coffee. A man at the next table leaned over and said, 'You're pouring too fast, you're getting a weak cup.' He pointed at my kettle. I told him I liked the cleaner taste it gave me, but he just shook his head. Has anyone else had someone try to correct their personal brew style in public?

Remember when people used to just drink the coffee. Got a similar lecture from a guy at a bus stop who saw me using pre-ground beans from a bag. He went on a five minute rant about grind size and oxidation like I'd kicked his dog. The obsession is real.

Tell him to start his own cafe if he wants to be the pour over police. Some people just can't handle seeing others enjoy things their own way.
