Toolholder collet nut seized on me mid shift Tuesday
I was running a part in a Haas VF-2 Tuesday afternoon and went to swap out a 1/2 inch endmill. The collet nut on my ER32 holder just would not budge no matter what I did. Tried smacking the wrench with a dead blow, even hit it with some penetrating oil, nothing worked. Ended up having to pull the whole holder out of the spindle and clamp it in a vise to get more leverage. Finally broke it free after about 20 minutes of cussing, but I trashed the threads on the nut in the process. Now I'm down a toolholder until I can order a replacement nut. Anyone else run into a seized collet nut and found a way to prevent it besides keeping things clean?

Ah man, a little anti-seize on the threads next time will save you a ton of headaches!

Hate when that happens, hope it wasn't too bad to deal with.
