Shoutout to the guy in Duluth who still uses a horsehair brush

I was up there for a job about five years ago and met an old timer who only cleans with a set of handmade brushes his grandfather used. He told me, 'The soot knows the bristles,' as he worked a tricky offset flue. Ever run into someone still using tools like that?

Ever feel like your own tools are judging you? My cordless drill gives me this look every time the battery dies mid-project... I'd probably get along better with a horsehair brush.

Actually, horsehair brushes are for oil paints.
