Overheard a guy at the hardware store say he uses a leaf blower for his initial sweep
He said it gets the big stuff out before the rods and brushes, saving about 20 minutes per job. Has anyone actually tried this, or is it just asking for a dust cloud disaster?

Tape plastic over the doorways first and it works fine.

Sounds like a hack for pros who don't mind the dust. Wouldn't try it indoors though.

Kevinrivera you saw someone actually do this inside a house. That's a wild amount of trust in a shop vac filter. Even with a good setup, fine dust gets everywhere, in every crack. It coats every surface in the next room over. You'd be finding that grit for months, no joke. The cleanup after would take longer than the actual job.
