Bought a 'premium' brush kit from Amazon and instantly regretted it
Last month I dropped $80 on a brush set that claimed to be 'heavy duty' and 'professional grade.' First job with it, the bristles started shedding inside a customer's flue. I spent an extra 45 minutes fishing wire bristles out of the chimney liner with a magnet. The handle snapped on the third use too. Total waste of money and time. Anyone else had luck with a specific brand that actually holds up to daily use?

Used to think all brushes were basically the same so brand didnt matter. That $80 Amazon garbage changed my mind real quick.

...and the same thing happened to me with a different brand. I bought a so-called "professional" brush from a big box store, first time using it the wire bristles started poking out of the sides. It scratched up the inside of my customers' flue and I had to explain why the job took twice as long. Never again will I trust anything that calls itself "premium" without seeing it in person first.
